Once you have been added by your Administrative Local Coordinator (ALC), you will receive an e-mail containing your login details. If you have not received this e-mail you should contact your ALC to request. If you are unsure of who your ALC please visit the ‘Contacts' section of this website.
You will need to register your school by selecting ‘Register school' link located at the top of the Home page. Simply fill in your details and submit your registration. You will then receive an e-mail containing your login details.
Check with your Local Programme Co-ordinator that they have approved your registration request.
Check that the emails have not been automatically moved into your junk mail folder. If they are not in your junk mail folder, then you should contact your ICT Dept./Email Provider/Internet Provider and have them check to see if any of their spam filters would be blocking emails from the healthy schools web server or emails from the password-no-reply@healthyschools.gov.uk, or no-reply@healthyschools.gov.uk email addresses.
National, regional and local administrative users your username is often your e-mail address. We recommend that you cut and paste the password from the e-mail supplied to ensure that it is being entered correctly. Once you are logged in you can change your password by selecting the ‘change password' in the Control Panel.

Once you are logged in you can change your password by selecting the change password option of the Control Panel from the left hand menu. For security reasons passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one non alpha-numeric character (e.g. a punctuation character).
If you are a local administrative coordinator you can create accounts for other members of your local programme by selecting the manage users section in the control panel.
You can request a school user account by selecting ‘Register school' link located at the top of every page. Simply fill in your details and submit your registration. You will receive an e-mail containing your login details once your local programme coordinator has processed your request.
Local Programmes can use their individual log-in details to order plaques through the Products section. Plaques are ordered for individual accredited schools but should be consolidated into a maximum of one order per month. .One monthly delivery of plaques and/or certificates is free to local programmes up to a maximum of 8000 plaques.
Once logged in select the Products menu item on the left side of the page, and then select Plaques, where you can order your plaques by selecting New Order.
Certificates are provided in batches of 50+ and are blank for over printing by the local programme. The certificates site above includes an online template for adding

The website displays images in their full size so to display images within content they should be resized before uploading. Image editing packages like Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks can be used if your are familiar with them, alternatively for users of Windows XP Microsoft offers a free extension, Image Resizer, which is very simple to use. Once installed, to resize an image right click it in Windows Explorer and click Resize Pictures. Click Advanced, then click Custom and specify a maximum size of 400x300, then click OK. A copy of the image will be created in the same folder as the original. Upload the resized image and use it in your content.
When you login, the first page you will see is the Schools Summary page which shows your progress to date. To record your information, simply select the Theme you wish to work on.
You can record notes on each criterion if you wish. Simply select the theme then criteria, then click the notes tab and type in your notes. Remember to click on the ‘save' button. This is a free format field and once saved can be viewed on the School Summary page of the site. These notes can only be viewed by your schools.

By clicking the ‘School' tab when logged in, you can return to the School Summary page to view a one page summary of your achievements to date, including any notes and actions you have recorded against the criteria
The task list shows where action is required by you. For schools, you can access responses to help messages sent via the Theme section of the website (see ‘I need help on one of the criteria, what can I do? in the FAQ section of the website).
You can request help from your local programme coordinator (LPC) by selecting the help tab on the theme criteria and enter the enquiry you have. By clicking on the ‘send' button, this will submit your message to your LPC who will respond to your message. The response from your LPC will show on your tasks lists. You can access your task list by clicking on the link at the top of the page.
